Officers responding to reports of suspicious activity in Totton have arrested three people in connection with drug offences.
It comes after officers searched a property on Hounsdown Avenue at around 3.45pm on Friday 23 April. This was a result of community information around possible drug-related activity.
A quantity of suspected Class A drugs were located in the property, alongside other drug-related paraphernalia; all of which was seized as a result.
A 30-year-old man from Totton and a 39-year-old man of no fixed abode were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
While a 43-year-old woman from Marchwood was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug. However, in being searched by officers, the woman subsequently assaulted two officers. She was later further arrested on suspicion of two counts of assaulting an emergency worker.
They have all been released under investigation, pending further police enquiries.
