Good intent false alarm mud rescue search Gosport

HM Coastguard units scrambled to 2 persons stuck in mud in Forton Lake, Gosport

On arrival, units HM Coastguard and Gosport Inshore Rescue Service (GAFIRS) carried out an extensive search of the area.

Hillhead and Portsmouth Coastguard Rescue Teams were alerted but the two people self-recovered to the shoreline before any coastguard assistance was required.”

Todays call received was recorded as a False Alert with Good Intent.
